Steps to Book Discovery:
1. Decide on A Book, Series, Author, or Genre
2. Use web tools to find book recommend-ations
3. Find out if the book is in our library collection
4. Find the call number OR recommend the book
Use the following directions and your handout to work through a FIND A GREAT BOOK process.
1. What is your book, author, series or subject? Write it down on your paper.
2. Use the "What Should I Read Next" or "Your Next Read" links to find a book recommendation that sounds interesting. Write that title down on your paper.
3. Check to see if that book is available in our library collection using the library catalog. If it is, write the call number on your paper. If it is not, use this link to recommend it for our library.
4. When you're finished, log out of your Google Account if you are finished with the ChromeBook and bring your HANDOUT to the library on your next visit to ask library staff to help you find your book/s.
